The Irish Rover's Dam Knockavera Pride, won the mare division in both 1982 and 1983 at the Royal Dublin Show, making him the only Registered Irish Draught Stallion able to claim his exceptional breeding. Prior to being imported to the United States, The Irish Rover was shown in Ireland 7 times and won all 7 shows. Shown here is The Irish Rover at 20 weeks of age at the Castlewellan Breed Show in Ireland.

Rover's sire, Kildalton Gold, a Registered Irish Draught, won the stallion class at the prestigious Royal Dublin Horse Show in both 1988 and 1989. This photo was taken of Kildalton shortly before his death in Spring 2000, at an advanced age, clearly still able to fly over this 4' Triple Bar.

The Irish Rover is a 17.1 hand Registered Irish Draught stallion imported form Ireland at two years of age. "Seamus", as we call him, is chestnut with three white stockings and white blaze. He is conformationally very correct with a strong athletic build, while exhibiting a forward, free flowing movement.

Seamus has continued his bloodlines winning pattern by placing first in Dressage at his very first outing in Texas at Meadow creek Horse Trials in 1999.
